Bright Minds was established by Sandra Poczobut and Jennifer Orticello, two teachers who share a common belief that, it is increasingly important for students of all types to receive additional support be it via professional development for adult learners or one-to-one support for students.
Sandra Poczobut, B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed., OCT
Sandra is an artist and educator with over 10 years of experience teaching learners of all ages on three continents. She has developed curriculum, training manuals, and facilitated professional development to both non-profit and corporate sectors. She is passionate about teaching through the arts, utilizing visual facilitation, collaboration, and innovation. Currently she teaches Internationally Qualified Architects and Interior Designers at JVS Toronto, and runs Pronunciation Workshops for the IT, Banking and Finance and Architecture sectors, in addition to running Bright Minds from her office at CO:WORK. Sandra holds a B.A., from the University of Alberta focusing on Sociology and Visual Arts, a B.Ed. in Fine Arts from York University, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum Studies from The University of Western Ontario. She is committed to client success and implements a creative student-centered pedagogy in her teaching.
